This 1971 Pantera is perfect for driving as is or restore it as you go.
Try to beat the price of only $25,995.95

Dallas Raines is no stranger to the world of exotic cars. The host of the Exciting World of Speed and Beauty and ABC television meteorologist for Southern California, has owned and driven some of the finest cars ever built.

Dallas owns this 1971 street driver type Pantera and has decided to sell it and have P.I. Motorsports, Inc. build up a different type of Pantera for show and go.

We believe the pricing on this car to be very realistic and it offers an opportunity to a buyer to obtain a celebrity owned car that is in above average condition. We also appreciate the ability of this car to offer the new owner a chance to get out and start driving and order parts and execute changes as you go. Some cars need every thing at once, this one could use some TLC but, who doesn't enjoy fixing up a Pantera. Heck, that is half the reason for buying these cars.

This is the lowest priced Pantera in our inventory in  this condition. Please make your move right now.

  • Chassis number 2098

  • Mileage of 47,249

  • Condition of paint is above average

  • Condition of trim and glass is above average.

The engine is slightly modified as shown. Observable is an aluminum manifold and Holley carb. The engine and engine compartment could use a full detail. Note the early style bell housing on dash 1 ZF.

Close up shot of engine shows non-stock air cleaner and stock headers. We would recommend eventually treating the power train to a full overhaul. Drive the car now for the summer and make upgrades a winter project.

Seats are not stock. It is not difficult to find stock seats if you wish. We find these seats to be very supportive and comfortable. Carpeting in the car could stand replacement. Note speakers in headrest and smooth shift gate.

Non-stock steering wheel and dual pod dash. Dash is in good condition. Upgraded stereo. If you are a tall person, consider dropping the floor pan for  more head room. PI Motorsports, Inc. can do it for you.

Padded arm rest is non stock item. Condition of rubber is above average.

Dallas selected these wheels and tires himself. They are a combination we have not seen on a Pantera before. Should the new owner desire, it is easy to return to stock Campagnolo wheels or even move up to 17 inch rims and tires.
